Q1. Have you any info on [insert cartoon]
A. If it's not on the site - then I'm sorry, I don't have any information.
Try Google:

Google

Q2. Is [insert cartoon] available on DVD??
A. Check out the DVD news page for all DVDs available. I might have missed it, so please search Amazon!

Q3. But [insert cartoon] wasn't made in the 80s!
A. OK, so a few of the cartoons are from the 70s, and some from the 90s. Surely this will only the bother the really nitpicking people out there! It's all about the memories for those of us that grew up in the 80s - which will, of course, include fab shows such as Battle of the Planets, Crystal Tipps, Bod (all 70s) plus Captain Planet, and Bucky O'Hare (both 90s). Sorry if it bothers some people, but it doesn't bother the majority! Please check out 70sCartoons.co.uk or 90sCartoons.co.uk

Q4. Where can I buy episodes on video/dvd of [insert cartoon]
A. Lots of the old cartoons are now available on video and DVD. Use hte DVD search box above, also try looking on EBay (click HERE for USA site and HERE for UK site). Your local music/video store might stock some of the newer released videos and DVDs too. Good luck!

Q5. I recall some cartoon with some wee animals that lived up a tree, and I think the baddie was a red monster who could fire lightning, and I think there might have been a character called Winkle. Can you help??
A. I get questions like these all the time. I don't think I've been able to answer one of them.. yet. But chances are, I won't have a clue, so there's no real point in asking me. Your best bet is posting on the forum, in the memories topic. Be as despcriptive as possible - try and include any dates, channel info, even basic stuff you might think is unimportant. To visit the forum click here.

Q6. Why don't you have Rainbow on the site?? It was fab!?
A. Yes indeedy, it was fab, but it isn't a cartoon is it?? One day, in the probable distant future I might expand to an "80s TV" website, but for now - cartoons only!

Q7. I remember a milkshake drinking frog....
A. His name was Alberto and he featured in the cartoon Bod.

Q8. Why does the site not work after I open a sound using MS Internet Explorer?
A. You can right click then choose "save target as" to avoid any hassle, and this can be done with mp3s, video clips, zip files, etc.

Q9. Where do you get all your info from? What about copyright?
A. Various places - books, videos and dvds mainly. I try not to steal images and sounds from other websites, so you can be assured that what you see on this site won't be anywhere else! A big thank you has to go to the regulars on the forum - they help me out a great deal. Thank you! As for copyright, if anyone is unhappy with my content or wishes certain material to be removed, please let me know and I shall remove it.

Q10. Can I use your images/sounds/videos on my own website?
A. This material is not copyrighted to me - the copyright belongs to the makers of the cartoons themselves. So feel free to use anything, but I'd like it very much if you pointed a link in this direction from your website if you can.

Q11. Do you make any money from this?
A. All websites cost money to run, so I try and make the money back via advertising and donations - your help and support is very much appreciated.

Q12. I can't play any of the sounds! Why?
A. All the sounds (except a few) are in MP3 format which should play in most media players. Windows Media Player, or itunes, or MusicMatch Jukebox, or WinAmp - any of those should do the trick!

Q13. Who hosts your website?
A. The fabulous team at 4UHosting - I highly recommend them!

Q14. Can I link to your site?
A. Yes of course! You can use this banner:

Save it to your own server, or copy and paste this code into your webpage:

Q15. What do you do with any personal information I submit?
If you submit your email address, name or any other info for reasons such as subscribing to the newsletters or entering a competition, you can be rest assured that nothing will be passed onto any third party, and will be used strictly for the original purpose stated when you submit the information. You can unsubscribe from the newsletters at any time.

But please...... if it's not on the site - then I have NO info on it!!
